A credstick is the monetary signifier in this world, similar to a credit card. It has the appearance of a long, thin stick of silicon and fiberplastic. Users make money in various ways (selling their objects, salvage, performing services for others) and are able to transfer money to other players or shopkeepers with a “pay” command. If my character typed in “@pay 500 Fabienne,” for example, 500 credits would automatically be transferred from my credstick to hers.
