Editorial note explained

The editors did not really include the editorial note at the end of the Introduction. I did. In the original printed version of this article, I wanted to show an editorial concern that would be relevant in a printed article. The point is that it would not necessarily be a valid point in the nonlinear, "multiple digression," organization of a hypertext.
