An Annotation to References and Annotated Bibliography
I have included the usual reference list for the works cited in this paper, along with a few additional bibliographic references that you may find useful should you desire to follow up on one or more of the ideas presented here. The brief descriptive comments that accompany items in the bibliography should help you decide whether an item will be of interest. (Wouldn't it be nice if everything listed was on line and all you had to do was click to get it? That may not be as far off as you might think.)
And a final note: if you haven't already done so, consider dropping by the discussion forum that accompanies this article. The online discussion areas in this journal allow you to write in the margins just like you might do in a favorite dog-eared volume.
