Mailing lists or listservs can provide support for people interested in children’s literature. To subscribe to one of the lists below, send a subscription message to the administrative address provided. Type the administrative address in the To: box of your e-mail window. Leave the Subject box blank. Then, type a subscription message in the first line of the Message box. The subscription message should contain the following information:

subscribe [listname] [your first name] [your last name]

  This is a list for people interested in the criticism and theory of children's literature. Subscribers include librarians, K-12 teachers, teacher educators, publishers, authors, illustrators, and parents.
• KIDLIT-L (listserv@listserv.binghamton.edu)
  This is a list for people interested in children’s literature. Many librarians, teachers, and teacher educators subscribe.
• RTEACHER (Web interface with full subscription information at http://www.reading.org/publications/rt/rt_listserv.html)
  A discussion group of teachers, publishers, professors, and others who explore topics related to literacy learning in traditional and electronic contexts.
