The Choices Booklists

Among the most popular features of the International Reading Association's print journals The Reading Teacher and the Journal of Adolescent & Adult Literacy are the annual Choices booklists. Children's Choices, cosponsored by the Children's Book Council, includes brief reviews of approximately 100 titles, each of which is recommended by children themselves. Young Adults' Choices describes 30 books selected by adolescents. Teachers' Choices provides more detailed reviews of 30 books rated by teachers as being outstanding for curricular use.
The Coretta Scott King Award
