The Reading Calendar is a wonderful resource for teachers, parents, and children. Creator Nile Stanley has compiled a set of activities that help children learn to read and to enjoy reading. Web pages are available for each month of the year. As illustrated with a portion of the July page at the right, every day of each month contains an activity that children can do on their own, with siblings, with an adult, or in family or peer groups.
