The Media Literacy Review is an online journal published biannually by the Center for Advanced Technology in Education at the University of Oregon, USA. It is an undertaking of the Media Literacy Online Project and is provided as a free service for teachers around the world who are interested in both traditional media studies as well as the study of digital media. The site has an expansive collection of resources--check out the Features page for the new Fall/Winter 2002 issue that focuses on Learning from Pictures. The Resources section provides links to listservs, online teaching resources and journals, lesson plans, media education standards, and more. Readings features an article collection covering topics from Advertising in Media and Child Development and Media to Government and Media. Lastly, the Organizations page contains an alphabetical directory of media literacy organizations from around the world.
